The MCUXpresso IDE includes an integrated version of the MCUXpresso Config Tools to enable rapid prototyping on an NXP development board and an efficient path to application development and porting to final hardware. This three part video series covers the basic interactions between the tools when working with either an imported MCUXpresso SDK example project or creating a new project within the IDE.
In this segment, we cover adding a new SDK to the MCUXpresso IDE, importing an SDK example, a quick preview of the clock tool and basic board compiling and debugging.

In this segment, we create our own Blinky LED style application starting with a new blank project. We use the Pin and Peripheral Tools to generate the configuration and initialization code for our project and use the SDK driver APIs to create a custom interrupt handler function.

In this segment, we pick up where we left off in Part 2. We extend our Blinky LED project using the SDK Component Manager to add a USB stack into our application and use the Config Tools to configure and generate the associated reference code. Finally we modify the generated reference code to incorporate a USB mouse into our Blinky LED project concept.
