About This Training
In this webinar we will discuss the challenges designers face in developing a software-configurable universal analog input module and how the new NXP N-AFE device is able to simplify the design, shorten the development time and provide additional functions such as diagnostics to the complete system.
Current market demands and increased product variability are changing the way production is set. In order to meet these demands, a way to reconfigure production lines to a new run in a timely manner is needed to maintain profit margins. In Industry 4.0, the concept of a software-configurable smart factory is a key element to cope with final product variability and fast production cycles. This requirement is translated to hardware components that are software-configurable. NXP's N-AFE analog input module is the interface between sensors in the smart factory. This module needs to be precise and accurate, universal and software-configurable, and offer advanced diagnostics to enable predictive maintenance.
