201703018A : PRE ALERT: MC9S12G128 and MC9S12G96 FAB EXPANSION (ATMC to TSMC3)
To meet the increasing demand for the MC9S12G128 and MC9S12G96 NXP is announcing the introduction of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Fab 3 (TSMC3) Hsinchu Taiwan as a dual source wafer manufacturing location for this family. TSMC3 will be qualified with Copper wirebond material.Expected qualification of TSMC3 is July 2017. An update to this notification with qualification results will be issued at that time.Supplemental information on Protoype Part numbers for sample orders Key Dates for the Expansion and the part number Nomenclature Decoder are attached.
