Updated Application Note AN11233 (Rev. 1.05 - 26 April 2017) for TEF6635HW/TEF6638HW (Hero) It is advised to adhere to the updated recommendations for new designs because it makes the application more robust. However no changes are required for current designs for which there are no issues.The hardware application note was updated in order to improve the description of the recommended distance from Hero of the series resistors which are required to interface the Hero current mode I2S inputs to a CMOS source. Previously the recommendation was to locate these resistors close to the source. The recommendation has been changed to placing these resistors at a distance of 20 mm to 25 mm of Hero.Furthermore the information was added that only one 3V3 regulator should be used so supply both the analog and digital 3V3 domains.
