The UBA20270 originally is a resonant CFL controller, but as shown in this design it can be used as LED driver as well. The board uses a passive PFC topology giving Class C mains harmonics performance for a single stage solution. Unlike single stage flyback solutions this board has neglectable LED current ripple.
