In modern cars, interior lighting has evolved to play an important role in enhancement of interior design and has also become an important brand differentiator. To overcome the limitations in existing in-vehicle LED lighting architectures a new industry consortium was formed to provide a comprehensive ecosystem for the new digital LED lighting paradigm. At Embedded World 2018 NXP’s Daniel Basler explained how this alliance accelerates and simplifies automotive LED light design.
