About This Training

There are a thousand different types of microcontrollers available in the market, each one with unique features: from core type to form factor, including serial protocols or diverse RAM/ROM capacities, integrating functional safety or security capabilities. Sometimes, design engineers opt for familiar MCUs to avoid the headache that comes with selecting an appropriate device—even when they do not fully satisfy the requirements of the project.

This session will introduce the NXP 32-bit Arm^® Cortex^®-M-based S32K1 microcontroller family for low- and mid-end motor control applications with an effective balance between power, performance and system cost. You will see the capabilities of the S32K1 scalable, AEC-Q100 qualified and ISO 26262 up to ASIL B-enabled easy-to-use solutions through a real-life live-demo presentation.
