Let us demonstrate the S32K DevKit CAN Communication and PWM capabilities with Model-Based Design Toolbox, Automatic Code Generation, and FreeMASTER Data Visualizer. The S32K Arm® Based Microprocessor is programmed in a matter of minutes using only blocks from the Model-Based Design Toolbox and MathWorks automatic code generation.
The generated application runs on the S32K microprocessor and analyzes the data received via UART port from the HOST PC where a Race Car Simulator is running. The data is processed in real-time and used to control the gauges and light indicators from a BMW dashboard via PWM and various GPIOs.
In parallel, the processed data is sent via CAN to another host PC where FreeMASTER is used to emulate a virtual Dashboard displaying the same information as the real one.
Enjoy the demo and see how easy it is to use the S32K DevKit to interact with FreeMASTER virtual display, or with the real dashboard.
