NXP’s TEA2017 power supply development kit is a 240 watt evaluation board plus tools that showcase how to simplify and optimize AC to DC power supply designs for applications, such as computing, gaming, TVs and industrial equipment. The TEA2017 combines an LLC and a PFC controller in a small SO16 package. It’s based on a digitally configurable high-speed state machine architecture that enables flexibility, reduces component count and simplifies design while delivering excellent efficiency at all power levels. The TEA2017 sample used in the kit is a special development version that can have parameters changed on the fly using the Ringo GUI, changing the operating frequencies, soft start and soft stop functions, operating mode transition points and many other parameters for rapid testing and design optimization.
