NXP’s SmartDSP operating system (OS) is a real-time operating system designed for high-performance multicore digital signal processors (DSPs), built on StarCore® technology. SmartDSP OS is delivered as part of the CodeWarrior® Development Studio for StarCore DSP Architectures (IDE) as both binary libraries and source code. The OS boasts a reentrant real-time kernel, drivers, network stack and debug utilities. Developers can evaluate the OS without purchasing, since binaries are included in the CodeWarrior Development Studio for StarCore DSP Architectures evaluation copy.
