FS26 Safety SBC Programming Socket Board

KITFS26SKTEVM provides easy customer configuration of the FS26 device family thanks to a LQFP48 socket. The KL25Z Freedom connected to the board, combined with the FS26 NXP GUI software allows to fully configure and control FS26 SBC. It's targeting 12 V automotive applications.

Devices can be easily placed on socket and allow OTP emulation, functional testing or program OTP(One Time Programming) fuses when ready.

Features

Connectivity

  • FRDM-KL25Z MCU plugged allows USB connection for easy connection to software GUI (access to SPI bus, IOs, Safety outputs, Debug, AMUX, regulators) USB connection for register access, OTPemulation and fuse

Power Management

  • VBAT power supply connectors (Jack and Phoenix)
  • VPRE output 3.3 V to 6.5 V, up to 1.5 A
  • VBOOST in Independent mode or in Front-end topology to support battery cranking profiles
  • VCORE output 0.8 V to 3.3 V, up to 1.6 A
  • LDO1 and LDO2, from 3.3 V or 5.0 V, up to 400 mA
  • VTRK1 and VTRK2, from 3.3 V or 5.0 V, up to 150 mA
  • VREF accuracy regulator for external ADC reference

  • Connectors allowing easy access to digital signals
  • Allows easy configuration of front-end and back-end power topologies

  • LEDs that indicate signal or regulator status
  • Analog variable resistor to test external VMON
  • LQF48 non-soldered socket to allow functional testing and programming of multiple devices. Due to the socket, all output current should be limited to 1 A maximum
