This video demonstrates how to use NXP’s MCX W71 and RW612 FRDM boards to create a complete Matter ecosystem, with both low power Thread mesh networking and Wi-Fi connectivity. The MCX W71 acts as a Matter with Thread device, while the RW612 acts as a single chip Thread border router, connecting the Thread network to the internet through Wi-Fi. Using the FRDM platform developers can quickly prototype their devices and then connect them together to simulate a Matter enabled smart home.
