In line with the green revolution, electric motor control is moving very quickly in the direction of higher efficiency for motor drivers. The HB2000 features provide:

  • Safety and Protection: First NXP H-Bridge motor driver designed using ISO 26262 processes in support of ASIL level C and D system qualification.
  • Efficient thermal management: Integrated MOSFETs with temperature dependent current limit scheme to prevent excessive heating of device.
  • Scalability: SPI programmable current limits and slew rates enable the use of the same motor driver for various motor sizes.
