AUTOSAR® 3.0.x (Classic Platform) Software
AUTOSAR (Classic Platform) 3.0 supports CAN, LIN, and FlexRay communication protocols, together with SPI interface for connection to external MCU devices, like transceivers or SBCs. AUTOSAR (Classic Platform) 3.0 targets automotive and industrial, except for ultra-hazardous applications.
AUTOSAR (Classic Platform) 3.0 is the first major version deployed into automotive production Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and is also the first major version NXP-supported with MCAL and OS software.
The NXP AUTOSAR Operating System (OS) offering can be used as a simple OSEK, without the larger AUTOSAR architecture —as the AUTOSAR OS specification was derived from the OSEK standard.
