    Let's create the setup environment to use your S12ZVMA.

    1.1 Attach the USB cable and Supply to the EVB with 12 V

    1.2 Run the Out-of-Box Demo

    Once you have powered the board with 12 V, you are going to be able to program your EVB through the USB cable. Open your Quick Start Package and look for the JumpStart code and loaded it to your EVB using CodeWarrior.

    2.1 Start your Design by Downloading the Quick Start Package

    Start your design by getting started with the Quick Start Guide and JumpStart code within the Quick Start Package.

    2.2 Install your Toolchain

    CodeWarrior Development Studio for NXP S12Z microcontrollers enables you to build and deploy applications quickly and easily.

    2.3 PC Configuration

    Once you connected your S12ZVMAEVB to your PC, the drivers of your board will start to install (if necessary), please wait while it are installed and do not unplug it.

    3. Build, Run

    Learn how to create a new project in CodeWarrior v11 and the basics to create your own code by running an easy example code.

    3.1 Debug your Application

    1. Open the JumpStart code using CodeWarrior v11 and download it in your board
    2. Go to File and click on Import Project
    3. Select Existing Projects into Workspace
    4. Select the JumpStart project and click on the Finish button. The project will be imported into your workspace
