The FRDMPKPT2000EVM is an evaluation board with access to the PT2000 direct injection pre-driver circuit functionalities for engine management applications.

The FRDMPKPT2000EVM is compatible with the Kinetis® KL25Z Freedom board, using its SPIGen (Serial Peripheral Interface generator) software for FRDMPKPT2000EVM control and monitoring capabilities.

  • All predrivers have 4 selectable slew rates
  • 12 selectable, predefined VDS/VSRC monitoring thresholds
  • Encryption for microcode protection
  • Integrated 1.0 MHz back-up clock
  • End of injection detection
  • External MOSFETs used to control 4/6 injectors and 1 fuel pump

Power

  • Battery voltage range, 5.5 < VBATT < 72 V
  • A +12 V VBAT supply provides the power to the two internal voltage regulators, Vccp and Vccp2.5
  • Power-conditioning circuitry
  • Predrive operating voltage up to 72 V
